I guess this means we will see Danns shipped out on loan quickly if someone will take on some of his wages
As Southampton sent him out on loan all last season, he may have been in the same situation as some of our players, in that they just wanted to get rid of him. So I imagine the fee was pretty small. If we're paying him what we paid Marshall, we'll still have improved the financial situation with Marshall's transfer fee being higher.
It could also mean deals are in the pipeline to move other players out. It'll be interesting to see if any of the regulars are missing from today's squad.
That's difficult to work out, isn't it?Who the hell is JM?
as he'll be on at least the same as what Marshall was, if not more.

Why such an aggressive comment?
I would be very surprised if James and Drinkwater were left out.
I would be very surprised if James plays against Wigan.

Unless rules have changed, you can't challenge 2 yellows.
(Wigan had a good win today.)

10 points from 5 games, imagine how many points we could have!Well hopefully Hammond can give us a rock so we an get a bit more creative, reading things and having been to a match this season (I live in Lancashire) we lack the creativity to carve teams open.

Could we please sign a player I've heard of before, FFS
If we are serious about going up, adding an ageing journey-man player nobody has ever heard of outside of Brighton & Southampton, is not the way forward
Yep, your ignorance of a player is a key indicator of their talent. We'd be better getting players you've heard of, it worked for Sven.Could we please sign a player I've heard of before, FFS

Didn't say anything about the points tally - it's a great return so far. But how many of those goals have come from cutting passes that break the opposition wide open?
Does that get extra points?
