Joachim is still quality at this level

Look, comrades, I love you all (IANGWOC) but that just isn't true is it ? How many goals has he scored in a piss poor league ?
How come no one else wants him ?
How come he can't get a game at Coventry ?

Coventry, for god's sake!!!

Come on. Let go of the past. We can do a lot better than little jools

He was an ever present for Cov last season and Cov want him to sign a new contract. Also Leeds want him and he scored about 10-15 goals last season, but as you say I would rather see a new face at the club.

I think that if we could have kept most of the side together then we would have, it would have been the best team in the first division.

Whenever a team says that they are 'rebuilding' its football code for 'we are stoney broke and have to cut the wage bill'. Whilst I think there are a lot of quality players we could potentially get for a lot cheaper than we have been paying some of the old boys who have moved on, the realist in me says why would they want to come to a side in division one who can hardly boast a starting 11.

Novo sounds good but I think hes in talks with one of the promoted clubs...as for utter despair...Thatchers the next one out the door! Then it'll probably be filbert the fox to Birmingham! But don't worry I think Mickey has secured the services of the Hartleypool monkey for a nominal fee, subject to a get out clause of 100 quality Jamaican bananas.

Sorry for the negativity, thats my quota for the year. I'm off down the ticket office on Saturday to renew my season ticket! Derby have apparently sold 10,000 tickets and we are not even close to that...over my dead body do they have a better fan base than us! I know their tickets are probably cheaper...but it looks bad!

This is exactly it, they will have alot more affordable tickets for the current situation and also their board probably aren't riling their fans as much as ours are.

It's all economics. Supply and Demand, Price and Quantity, simple curves. We've put the price too high, hence the demand is not high enough to reach the optimum. It's a shame. Apparantly you can get a job in the Marketing department of LCFC, requirements are grade C or above in Economics. Roll up, roll up, what an oppourtunity.

Derby have sold over 13k season tickets, however they are priced at £205 (adult) and about half that for young adult and senior citizen (in some parts of the stadium), and they've been on sale for months, plus they operate on a rising scale (the later you leave it the more you pay) so the amount they have now is probably their lot. That said it doesn't look like we'll get anything like 13k at the moment.
