Top band Pork Pie. Been to see a few good gigs. Two of the original line up now gone.

Me too Billyjof, and I think Mawsley may have seen them too, way back in '92 when I first saw them. Yep and a second death way too young really, sad day.

Moved north as a kid went to school in Northwich, home of Tim Burgess and Dead Dead Good records, who signed the Charlatens. Used to see them out and about.

Seen them a fair few times in the nineties. Went to a gig in Brixton, no support, but Noel Gallagher and Paul Weller played with them. At the time it was like all Christmas' in one.
 
Sad news. I saw the Charlatans at Leicester Uni in 1990, the same week that The Only One I know got into the charts. They were very young. I was even younger, amazingly.
