Tim Boon wants immediate response from Leicestershire CCC after thrashing

County have only a brief respite before they return to Championship action with the visit of Derbyshire tomorrow.

"We will have a good practice on Monday," said Boon. "We have to stay confident and bounce back."

To do that Boon knows that he has to find more productivity from both batsmen and bowlers because County were disappointing in both areas against Sussex.

"We have to start bowling maidens and hitting good areas on the pitch," said Boon.

"We also have to look for the key batters to make significant contributions, not just one player getting 70 or 80."

Cheers Tim, thanks for pointing out the basic requirements expected of a prof cricket team.

Derby 168-9 after at one time being 67-8. 4 wickets each for Hoggard and Malik

Cracking start to the day..... 2 wickets for 3 runs!

Think we could end up paying for letting Derby get 100 runs to0 many in first innings.

Weather permitting - there should be a very interesting fourth day. Wickets seem to fall in bundles in this match.

I see it being about even - given that our tail starts at 7.

Won by ten wickets, well done Boyce and Smith. Good performance all-round.

fairly easy in the end a great start and finish to the game

Quite unlike us to complete the game with such efficiency both with the ball and bat.

Mind you Derbys are seriously poor.
