Readnig a few other websites though it seems like Derby have been doing this pretty much all season which is why their attendances have been so high.

The last one of their offers I saw on Groupon sold less that 20 pairs of tickets.
 
I think they're only allowed this kind of offer three times a season.

They are well known for giving away a lot of tickets though, to schools etc.

And good for them too, more clubs should be doing more to get youngsters in to the game, otherwise it'll be slow death as local kids start following the big 4 or the Xbox.
 
There's no ****ing point getting kids into a game if they have to take out a mortgage to afford a season ticket when they become an adult.

Rather than giving away kids tickets - how about not paying players ****ing idiotic salaries and running a club within its means to benefit the local fanbase? Mental-crazy idea, I know...but what the hey, maybe one day someone will click onto it.
