Great Racehorse but never won me so much as a bean,actually it regulary used to beat my fecker into second:icon_roll .Not as great a Horse as Red Rum though IMO

probably a stupid question but did they ever race each other. I know little about horse racing other than how to lose money on it.

No,Red Rum was earlier.Desert Orchid was probably the better all round Racehorse but at Aintree around the Grand National fences against each other my money would be on Red Rum........and no doubt Desert Orchid would again beat it into Second:icon_roll
