Did Trump just get shot?

So it was a rifle and one spectator was killed, two others critically injured. Am I the only one thinking that Trump is seriously lucky not to be a goner right now? I mean, he took a seemingly lethal bullet to the ear. Jeez, must have tough ears or something. Perhaps it was just a glance but we're talking millimetres from a deadly head shot. America hey, what a strange place.

The imagery is very very strong and will be used endlessly by the Trump campaign.
There's a stark contrast between Trump being shot and walking off stage with his fist aloft and Biden, who would need to consult his instructions on how to exit the stage (if recent reports are to be believed).

Usually these US public shootings leave at least half a dozen dead. What kind of lousy shot must this guy have been?
& of course now they may as well not bother even having an election. The **** was probably going to win anyway but it's definite now.
& of course he'll now spend the next month (not so) subtly insinuating that the democrats paid for the hit out of their secret deep state slush fund. But he was protected by jesus himself in order to complete god's work & save america from satanic liberals.
& a significant percentage of a nation with the collective IQ of boiled cabbage will believe him.
In the end though the dems & Biden have only themselves to blame. They allowed themselves to believe that everything was " back to normal " & now it ends up with 4 more years of this ****ing cretin & his lunacy.
Biden should have announced himself as a one term president within days of being elected & they could have found a decent candidate by now. Instead they end up with a bloke who's only possible achievement in a second term would have been to die in office. Clearly the top echelons of US politics are just as mind numbingly stupid as anyone else.
