M.A. is going to go through some stick before he gets his team on the park and unfortunately he's got to permutate before he gets the right eleven, which will get him more stick, he also has more of a learning curve to get through than the players, as they only go out to play for 90 mins
M.A. has got to get the team to gell, pick the right players, get the right plan formulated for each game, stimulate and blend the team into a unit and hes the one that is on a steeper learning curve that the players, as well as trying to placate a man in a hurry M.M.

i dont like slagging of leicester but i get f**k'd off when i pay good money to see them and the poeple on the pitch who are getting paid £10k + cant perform.!

i getting fed up of falling for the same old s**t, all thru pre-season and before the game, they hype up the fans, tell us all there ambitions show off all there new signings, expectations are high, every bodys looking foward to it and then what happens......

first game of season, we loose to f***ing blackpool. thats imbarrasing!! somebody need to sort this out, either cut there wages or let us in for free, infact, they should pay us to go!!! either that or actually win

Have you ever read On Anger by Seneca. It is a writing by the aforementioned Roman gentleman to a relative whereby he muses over anger. His conclusions, amongst others, are that anger is something people feel because they have a distorted real world view. I subscribe to this theory.

I think your post has fallen into that trap and you have let yourself have a distorted real world view about the capabilities of City as it stands now.

The best all of us can hope for at the moment is what the players put on the pitch and it is these performances that govern our view of what City might or might not be able to do over the season.

We should not forget how broken this team squad and whole club were before MM took over. There have been wholesale changes all the way through the club and the most important change so far has been putting MA in charge.
However People who go to the games week in week out have every right to shout swear and moan as much as they like.
MA has to earn every leicester city supporters praise for what he gets the players to do on the pitch. IMO what has been seen to be getting done up to saturday has been very good, but its results that matter and he will live or die by what his team does on the pitch not the clever one liners he reels off to the media.

Yes - unrealistic expectations are our biggest problem and even I a total cynic (in the mold of Diogenes, Steven) am guilty of that.

My gut feeling is that Martin Allen won't last that long - I don't think he is the genuine article....but my views on that don't matter at all. He has been appointed and the result of the first game means little except the loss of three points.

Most football pundits from outside Leicester took a more objective view of our prospects than some of the silly talk in the Mercury and football fora. In a fair world Allen would be set a target of some real improvement to say finishing in the top half....but with Milan it may well not be enough and if that is the case and he has to go then it wont bother me.
