I think our first choice was McGinn at Villa. He's been a target of Rodgers/Congerton for some time and it was not a coincidence that McGinn signed a new contract just before the window closed.

Then it was Mcgregor, then it was Praet.

At least we got our third choice on one deal. We totally screwed up on the other two.

I'm sure that Rodgers won't say anything about it but he must be disappointed with what the club didn't do at the end of the window.
