Has anyone heard of the impact Mr DH is having with the club? It suddenly occurred to me that out current 'blip' may have coincided with his arrival and Powell's departure?

Can we all start blaming DH rather than Ricardo for our recent poor run?

One thing I have noticed is a lack of movement off the ball compared to where we were. This fits with a comment made by a MK Dons fan when he left. I did post the quote in the original thread so you can trawl through and look for it if you want.

(EDIT ... Then again, maybe I didn't)

Bloody hell, that's rather negative isn't it? I don't really think Sven would have hired someone who is slowly making us worse- that was Mandy's job.

Hamann was hired on the 3rd Feb since then we've won 4 of our 8 games and our 3 losses were against probably the 3 best teams in the division.

Absolutely ridiculous theory. Why can't people just accept those 3 defeats were against better teams than us?

because powell is doing so well at charlton ,, ermm not

Chris Powell has not even had a transfer window let alone a pre-season.
It is far too early to tell - try judging him around Christmas.

As for DH I would guess that he is working the way that Sven wants him to work - if Sven is brilliant at picking and guiding players then it imay well be that he is brilliant at picking and guiding coaches.

Ridiculous theory? Hmm. This is a forum. Perhaps we should just stick to talking about facts. No absolutely no conjecture, or opinionated chat at all.

I ask a question, and it's ridiculous? Sorry you took it that way.

Fine then, let's stick to the facts, here they are:

points per game this season with Powell as coach: 1.35
points per game this season with Hamann as coach: 1.63

Points per game with Powell as coach under Sven only is that?

No. That is 1.69, an increase over Hamann of a whopping .06 points per game. It's all Hamann's fault!

I was merely picking up on opinions post Norwich that "something was wrong.." prior to the Scunny game there were many on here who go week in week out who mentioned that for the first time since Sven took over, we looked a little jaded, unsure and unfit. Sven mentioned this himself in fact. Hamann came & Powell left, when Powell left we looked unbeatable - now we have changed formations and looked at times a little like our former, paler selves. It wasn't meant to be a DH witch-hunt, more an enquiry/debate on whether or not this may have any relevance.

However, your 'facts' have cleared it all up so well done you.

Powell left on 14 January, we had actually gained exactly the same amount of points in our last 8 games under Powell than we have in our 8 games under Hamann so I don't know where this "looked unbeatable" has come from. Our unbeaten run was largely in the period between Powell leaving and Hamann being hired.

Are you bumming him?

You asked me to talk facts and I have done.
