I have recently scaned in some old pictures from the 70s and 80s and want to print them out for an christmas present for the old dear.

However to do so, i will have to go to a printing machine. I put them on the memory card on my camera however when i go to view them they don't show. I understand this is because of the change of format (they are all JPG).

Will the machine still be able to print them out?

I would say it is down to file dimensions rather than format, most digital cameras will display JPEGs, unless they are too big dimensionally. However seeing as the cameras dimensions probably are upwards of 3000x3000 pixels it seems strange.

I would imagine the printing machine will work on the same lines but you should just go and check
