maybe someone can help out, i know that the championship winners recieve the old football league first division trophy, so am i right in thinking that the division 1 trophy we will be competing for next season will be the old second division trophy which we have won on 6 occasions?

This is one beauty we'll be failing to win next season:

Pah! That's rubbish. The Johnstone's Paint Trophy is miles better. I say we throw all our eggs in the JPT basket, to feck with the league!

that must be one of the worst trophies no wonder you never see any pictures of it.
Unless of course you happen to live in Wales and it was on every frigging news bulletin that weekend.

we should go for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy get a trophy in the cabinet :)

I agree. We should also go for winning every single fecking match we can. This, however, will be harder than one may think. Although, Leeds UTD did a good job at it when Wise the **** was manager last term.

I think so - I see this as our route back into Europe - there must be paint manufacturers all over Europe who would sponsor their own domestic cup competitions exclusively for third and fourth tier clubs. I'd say there was a big potential for a money spinning competition with exclusive TV rights probably for the Community Channel.

There is the Serie C Cup and many other forms of third tier calendar filler across Europe.
