Caretaker-manager Frank Burrows fears Leicester will be 'down to the bare bones' for Burnley's visit this weekend after Gareth McAuley and DJ Campbell joined the growing injury list at the Walkers Stadium.

Defender McAuley and striker Campbell both suffered groin strains during the 1-1 draw at Preston on Tuesday night.

The Foxes are already without James Wesolowski, Levi Porter, Stephen Clemence, Ian Hume, Andy King and Elvis Hammond.

Burrows said: "Gareth has a groin strain, as has DJ Campbell. That is another couple of injuries that we don't need and we are down to the bare bones."

Re: DJ and McA Injured

we are down to the bare bones

Aye - we only have about another twenty-odd players to choose from :icon_roll

Re: DJ and McA Injured

Very generous calling them players Homer.

Well we have plenty of strikers available - and if we played feckin' 4-4-2 the loss of McAuley wouldn't be an issue as the other two centre backs are in much better form

Excuses in early, yet again

Re: DJ and McA Injured

Am I the only one getting pissed off seeing Elvis' name every time there's a sick list produced?

The asshole is never going to play for the club again so let's just pretend he's not here anymore.

Re: DJ and McA Injured

When he says down to our bareboners.....

Is he implying we all travel to the match juiced up on 10 Viagra’s brandishing our bare rock-hard erections to everyone? Or have I the wrong end of the stick here?

we cant play 4-4-2 we still have no left side, and would still have chambers and kenton in midfield, is mattock still injured or just out of the picture?:102:

Cambell finally looks like hes starting to find the net so I'm actually a bit gutted to lose him

Kenton was good last night when he replaced McAuley at the back, Hume back so Matty can move back up front . Kaibi or Chambers to replace Stearman. Weso and Clemence back? Bare bones my arse!
