Clemence Weso and Hume have all trained, but saturday is too soon for them, on saturday we need to win but a draw wont be a bad result with the 2 week break and then we should have a much stronger squad and new manager.

I cannot see a new manager coming in before saturday as they have been no news/rumours or any links over the last few days.

I disagree Spanky. Past form against Burnley counts for nothing, a win is the only result I think won't be bad.

i agree with what your saying alex a win is what we have to get, but with the current team suitation and manager suitation, its going to be a very hard fought win, i can see no changes in the team, and i am sure that taggs and burrows knows its there last game in charge, i feel they should go out all attacking and give some of the other lads from the reserve team at least a shot on saturday to prove they are good enough for this team

Sure King will start - and Clem or Weso if they are fit

And we can all hope and pray (believers in a deity or not) that someone plays instead of Stearman.
Preferably Chambers, but quite frankly I'm prepared to give Henderson a go there as long as that cnut doesn't play

The kit man will be relieved if McAuley isn't playing, he won't have to get the triangle shaped boot cleaner out of the kit bag for just one pair of boots.

Gareth McAuley is a doubt after being substituted at Preston, and caretaker boss Frank Burrows says he won't risk McAuley if he isn't one hundred percent.

18-year-old Andy King replaced McAuley at Preston and could be in line for another run out.

Captain Stephen Clemence is battling to be back, but acting assistant manager Gerry Taggart says James Wesolowski and Iain Hume won't be involved this weekend.

Last season Burnley left Leicester with all three points, but City got their revenge by winning at Turf Moor.

Burnley have never lost - or even conceded a goal - at the Walkers Stadium, so City will be hoping to break that record and record a second successive home win.

I agree with the train of thought that we should be a bit more adventurous and go for the win. A draw is just not acceptable and the usual injury excuses have been made pathetically yet again, we have got a bigger squad than many in this league so lets try a few new players if neccessary. For a change, I'd sooner loose 3-2 than yet another boring 0-0. Draws against Preston (bottom) and Colchester and Burney who are both below us is a very negative thing to have to accept. Why in McCauley and DJ's abscence don't we revert to 442 and create a few more chances (DJ is no real loss, we've plenty of cover), For example, if fit, how about:

Fulop
Chambers, N'Gotty, Kisnorbo, Mattock (or Sheehan)
Newton, Hume,Wesalowski (if fit yet), Ferreira
John, Fryatt

Subs:
Henderson, Cort, Stearman, Kenton, Kaebi.

For christ sakes let just have a go for a change!!!!
