Downtime tonight

There will be some downtime tonight at around midnight while I upgrade the forum software.

I've had to remove the vbookie events list from the column on the right because it won't work with the upgraded forum.

There may be other things that are broken too, please post in this thread if you notice anything wrong.

Yes. It pisses me off having to change that every time I update the software, it really should be the default behaviour.

Can the 'New Posts' button be restored to its former place at the left end of the row. I'm not sure we need a 'Forum Home' button when the button immediately above does exactly the same thing.

Can't get the Mobile version option. In fact from my phone there are no options to change settings in the drop down at the bottom (left side).

I don't know why that's not working, but there are other ways to select it.

Since the upgrade (and I use the word advisedly) I can't get to the vBookie stats page any more.


And if you're on http://talkingballs.co.uk/vbookie.php, you can't access any other part of the forum without using the back button.

They've completely changed the way the menu system works, so it could take me some time to work out how to restore it to the vbookie page. Until I've fixed it you can use this link: http://talkingballs.co.uk/vbookie.php?do=stats


The main reason for the upgrade was to fix some security issues, but there are a few new features. I find the new activity screen useful for catching up on recent posts without having to open each thread.

It looks like there's a DNS problem. It works for me without the www.

It's due to problems at Godaddy at the moment. I can't even access their website to change the DNS settings.
