Looks like an elbow but difficult to see how much contact. Player as usual drops as if blasted with a shotgun! I hope the jury will not be judging on the basis of that particular clip!

Why is it the Watford player is not disciplined for pulling his shirt and preventing him from getting back in position? That is why he was elbowed it was to get the player of his shirt IMO

Simply because the ref didn't see it. Fouls are not the subject of retrospective action; violent conduct is.

The same Watford player had a tussle with Gray. He was at it all game, typical Italian style game Watford play including the wind ups, play acting and all that comes with it. I know we also play a similar game in a counter attacking style with some play acting but not to the level Watford do.

The standard punishment is a 3-game ban. It can be varied when the punishment is found to be 'clearly excessive' or 'clearly insufficient'.

If a player appeals against a sending-off or, in cases like Drinkwater's, does not accept the charge if he is then found guilty, the disciplinary committee will consider the merits of the appeal and if it feels that the appeal had no chance of succeeding the punishment may be increased up to double the original length of the suspension.

Did not look any different to what Huth was doing most matches last season and getting away with.

However, Drinkwater has seen the refs clamping down on our best defensive tactic, so he was a prat for doing it.
