I've finally taken the plunge and joined the world of smart phone users. I got an HTC Incredible with Android OS. So far, I love it.

Can anyone suggest any Droid apps or have any other tips?

Angry Birds if you want a decent game, google maps, handcent sms (texting like it should be), flash player 10.1 (if you are using froyo), GPS Status & Toolbox.

I spend many more hours on Bejewelled, Doodle Jump and Flight Control (all iPhone tho').

I can wholeheartedly endorse the Sibley Guie to Birds of N America app, for those who have tricky ID challenges whilst in the field in America. Anyone?

Soccer Livescores is pretty good. Also QuickMark for using QR codes, the Google Navigation tool, AroundMe for a list of nearby hotels, petrol stations, etc, and a wonderful app that tells me which fast food joints are within range :icon_redf

And Connect 4! :icon_bigg

I love this phone...
