How did you know that it was Charlie George that I thought was capless? Get out of my mind!!!

Just had time to check - in fact, his single game was against Ireland (of the Republic variety).

Bugger - I thought it was Wales and the chance to redeem myself for my ill written post...

My first memory of Frank Worthington is from our first game back in the First Division at the start of the 1971/72 season. This was long before the days of any segregation at matches and I was surrounded on the Leeds Road terraces by odd-sounding people who shouted "Giv it tut Wurthintun" every time one of their own got the ball.

2-all draw and I remember that Wurthintun and Trevor Cherry scored for them, but I have no idea who got ours.

Where do you get your information from?
Worthington signed for us in 1972, July or August time. He did not sign for dirty Leeds until about 1981 or 82.

How can you make a schoolboy error like that, involving one of our top legends.....
