I just got The Eagles Of Death Metal albumn 'Peace Love Death Metal' and Wow ! 'tis essential stuff.

Nothing to do with The Eagles (thankfully)
Nothing to do with Death Metal

Not much like The Strokes, The Vines, Black Rebel MC Club, Von Bondies,
White Stripes, 22-20s, Datsuns, ikara colt, The D4, The Hives etc etc (all top bands) but a little like Beachbuggy (whooooo?)

Go try it, you won't like it.

Does anyone out there like this kind of cheap lo-fi production as much as me 8)

I don't mind lo-fi, but it wears a bit thin after 3 or 4 listens. I prefer the well produced sex albums.

Both top bands. The D4 for having the best t-shirsts ever and Ikara Colt for starting a riot at most of their gigs.
