I would be careful who you were photographing as they may not want to be photographed.
I thought they believed they have a just cause in which case it shouldn't matter!

I fully intend on doing my own march to the train station in the morning. I expect at least two policemen to escort me there.
Should be OK going to the station I'd have thought ( but personally, if given the choice, I'd give the City Centre the swerve tomorrow ).I've got a couple of friends coming up tonight, and they need to get to the train station for 1pm tomorrow afternoon. They are pretty much fecked, right?
If they think you are a journo, they'll probably want to give you a good shoeng anyway. Even though they crave publicity, individually I think they are not too keen on the possibility of being identified.Good luck presenting that argument to them.
Seriously Matt, it really isn't a good idea. If they don't recognise you as a journalist taking pictures, they'll assume that you're UAF, both sides regularly video and photo each other to identify and target members, and you'll be in deep, deep shit
I plan on standing near the station to hurl insults at you and shake my fist in an irate fashion.
Now you'll only be allowed to stand outside your front door and vocalise your desire to use a train to Beights and his Dad as they take snaps of you.
I love nights like that. Lucky MHS.I've got a couple of friends coming up tonight, and they need to get to the train station for 1pm tomorrow afternoon. They are pretty much fecked, right?

MHS, avoid Charles Street and Humberstone Gate. I plan on walking into town, head for the Lanes, up New Walk and cut across. If it's anything like Bradford, all nutters will be herded into a pen and just mill about there. There will be too many coppers to get away from the barriers.
Hazz. Just heard on EMT that the EDL will bemeeting on hotel street in the morning. Police have agreed for pubs to remain open. May be best to avoid the lanes. Get a taxi.
Don't listen to 'em, Beights
I bet they'd love to have some completely random bloke intensely studying them and taking pictures of them as they go about their little protest - they'll probably buy you a beer or two afterwards as well
You go for it
Yep.My brother works for costa coffee. He's been left with 'no option' but to work at the haymarket (clocktower) shop as the their own staff have refused.
He should tell his boss where to shove it, right?
For the last couple of hours all I have heard whizzing down the Narborough Road are Police vehicles with sirens blaring.
Keeping hearing them from my gaff; copters earlier, in fact just as a type, there's another load.
