It’s a big gap. Especially with them in the other competitions.

Bizarrely I often find a signing like Weghorst at a place like United a sign that the manager has a plan. Instead of shelling out for a big name he’s said “I need exactly this sort of player”.

Absolutely, he's a rather odd player but he's doing a great job of making space and by extension making Rashford look even better than he is.
