Would be excellent, begs the question if true why did we sign Tiatto for another year?

Could be that at the time of signing Tiatto, that Elliott was not available, Phil Parkinson may well have still been assessing his squad and only recently decided that Elliott was surplus to requirements.

Kelly thought we would perhaps get more out of him what with us just giving him a year contract, that it would spur him on to play better. Then again.

To be fair he had a good game against Ipswich and we have only played 3 games so far :icon_roll

I know, i was only messing, was just trying to perhaps give an explanation for why were interested in Elliott.

The only way we could even imagine buying Elliot is due to two main factors - 1) the impending sale of Maybury and 2) Parkinson not playing him.

You have to ask yourself why he isn't being played. Surely if he was all that Hull would play him.:icon_conf

There could be a number of reasons..... I don't expect Ashley Cole to be in Arsenals starting line-up if he's still there when the seasons starts. Likewise with Gallas at Chelsea......Just because a player is not currently in the starting line-up doesn't automatically mean he is crap.

Did he start or come off the bench? How did he play HF?

He played the last 11 minutes.

He played 28 minutes of the first game before he was substituted - tactical substirution, according to the reports. In the other two games he came on as sub and played 14 and 11 minutes - a total of 53 minutes spread over 3 games.
