Oh come on, Parachutes and ROBTTH were quality, but X&Y was just portentous rubbish. Lyrics that apart from a couple of songs meant nothing and just meandered about gibbering cod psychology and songs that were over produced and basically dad rock.

In your opinion.... songs aren't all about lyrics and meaning to some.

My mum aint that cool, fecking Will Young and Westlife. The only album with a hint of credibility she bought is David Gray and she never listens to that.

no they are about tunes too and they were bland, boring and ultimately extremely average on X&Y as well.

Zane Lowe's radio show tomorrow tonight on Radio 1 is a Football Mix Tape Special. Should be interesting. I dont mind him on Thursdays because its the day he shuts up and lets the music play.
