Just watched 45 minutes of England crawling along at 3 an over. I know that it will do the job in this match but I find it incredible that our plan for this tournament is to ignore the whole idea of a PowerPlay.

Particularly in a situation where net run rate could decide who gets into the semi finals. They should have gone for it from the start and had the match won within 25 overs instead of pissing about like they have.

Ouch, painful listening.

Although I'm pretty sure we'll win. I think Strauss, Vaughan and now Flintoff are treating it as a net session to try and get some form back, although it doesn't seem to be working. Unfortunately with KP and Bell both failing we're now under a bit of pressure.

I don't think the run rate is that much of an issue. As it stands now we have to win our last three games, if we win those then our run rate will improve anyway. We don't really have to take any risks.
