Anyone ever used these or a similar company?
I can't stand their fecking adverts but I found a couple of old phones lying around earlier that I have no use for.
I logged on to see they will pay me £40 for them (believe it when I see it).
I seriously doubt it is as easy as that but I've read a few decent reviews for them.

I've used Mazuma twice to sell 4 phones. I checked a few reviews of loads of companies doing a similar thing and although Mazuma don't pay as much as some of the others, they seemed to get the best reviews. Both times I have had my cheque within a week.

I will use them again

I've used Envirofone and had no problems. My cheque came within a 72 hours.

The mrs has used these companies and never had a problem even though one of her phones was only worth a quid!

Im going to get rid of a couple this week. Worth noting that mazuma will give you argos vouchers, as if your like me and end up paying a 20 quid cheque into your bank you will just spunk it away without even noticing.

This might sound like a git question but I'm being deadly serious....

Does the phone have to be in full working order?

No. They will give you a price for a working phone and a non working phone.

They will also check each phone they receive to ensure it is working if you claim it to be.

If you say its working and its not, they will pay less.

Great stuff!

I've got a Nokia N96 that just died on me, will check that out now....

How about phones with broken screens?

Unfortunately the TB comparison thing I posted above only compares prices for working phones.

The one MG posted does compare non working phones, but might not give you the best price, mine compares prices from more places.
I've checked for working N96s and mine offered £3 more than MG's.

I have a phone with a broken screen and one company has quoted me £14 for none working condition. I will see what they say when they get it.

NOTE: that on some of these sites they class a phone with a dead battery as none working so you want to charge it before it goes if you are claiming it to be a working phone!

This isn't always ture. I've known friends send theirs in after being dropped down the toilet etc and been paid out full whack.
