I looked on ebay and for the 2 phones I had I would have only got around 1-2 quid more. So when you take into account the ebay and paypals fees and the extra efforst involved it didnh't really seem worth it.

Many are repaired and sent out to eastern europe and africa to be sold on. The unrepairable ones are sent to belgium.......to be recycled for the raw materials. There is a surprising amount of gold in a mobile!!

Put the phone in the post on Wednesday evening, got the cheque in the post first thing this morning.

Ive had similar experience with fonebank and got 15 quid for a phone with a smashed screen! I have also sent one to royal mail simply drop. Service seems alittle slower but I got a good price for a working phone, they don't take none working phones though from waht I can see.
