Good performances from the home nations so far - Norn Iron beat Hungary away 2-1, and Wee Gordie's Scotland looking decent value for a 2-1 defeat in Germany.

With the changes to the numbers qualifying it would be nice to see them and the Welsh go for it, they've all improved a touch of light and could manage to sneek through their groups

Not sure what hope I hold out for England against the Swiss tomorrow, but with the top two qualifying automatically and third getting a play-off I can't see them failing in the long run.

I watched the Scotland game yesterday, they looked pretty good. I think all the home countries could actually qualify this time because of how many spots are available. Not sure about Gibraltar though :p

Henderson, Wilshere and Delphi in midfield for England

Switzerland 13/8. It's like buying money

Good result for England last night; 2-0 away win against Switzerland is decent and with how easy the group looks, means qualification should be pretty straightforward.

I didn't think the performance was great still, but can't argue with the result.

I thought Delph did well. Obviously he's not going to be a world beater and is a bit limited, but he does bring plenty of energy to the team which is nice to see for a change.

Young Stankevicious got five minutes at the end of Lithuania's game against San Marino. Would be great if he could get an outing against England too.

Wales, with Andy King in the starting line-up, held to 1-1 at HT in Andorra.

Andy just had a chance to get the lead but couldn't quite head in a Bale cross. At the moment Bale is our only threat. I wonder if Tom Lawrence might get on...

King subbed. I suppose it would have taken some guts to take off Bale, Ramsey or Allen at this stage!
