Oh how we laughed when Swansea beat Arsenal - 'now we can close the gap' we said confidently -
We have to really go for it in the 2nd half - (not least because its my birthday and this is a crap way to spend it)

So we’re ruling him out ever being a defender now? At his age?

I remember absolutely slating Rio Ferdinand for his first few years in Leeds team. Kept making mistakes. Funny thing, he became one of the best defenders in the world.

Not suggesting this will happen to Chilwell, clearly, but let’s not write him off
