Wesolowski boost for Foxes

Leicester City have been given a boost with the news that young midfielder James Wesolowski is fit for the new season.

The 18-year-old Australian broke the same leg on two separate occasions last season, and was restricted to just five appearances.
But he has since completed an injury rehabilitation programme and is taking a full part in pre-season training.
Foxes boss Rob Kelly is delighted with the speedy recovery he has made.
"It's really good to see James running around again," he told the club's official website.
"The medical team have done really well to get him back for the start of pre-season. I thought that may have been a big ask, considering the fact that he was coming back from a double leg break, but he is looking fine.
"He is in with the squad and doing everything they are doing."

Midfielder return boost
2006-07-06 16:06 Leicester City boss Rob Kelly says he is delighted to see teenager James Wesolowski back in training. The 18-year-old suffered two broken legs last season, after forcing himself into the first-team reckoning at the Walkers Stadium.

The first break happened in a pre-season friendly against Celtic. The Australian then suffered a second fracture in a game against Brighton in February.

Kelly told the clubs' official website: "It's really good to see James running round again. "The medical team have done really well to get him back for the start of pre-season. I thought that may have been a big ask, considering the fact that he was coming back from a double leg break, but he is looking fine.

"He is in with the squad and doing everything they are doing."

"I hope that he is available for our first game at Boston next Wednesday evening, but we will have to monitor him and see how it goes. I am, however, optimistic."

I thought we all knew this :102:

I haven't seen him in any of the training ground pics that have been published so far.

I haven't seen anything at all, I was working on the assumption that as no news had been broadcast then we were status quo

Probably not, but how many times were we told that Morris was "back in a month" or whatever? Good to know that this time the prediction was right.

And he's too young for Status Quo - That would be Coventry. ;)

Yeah but unlikley to last a full season. He is only 18 look at how Stearmans performances tailed off towards the end of the season. They need rest too!
