Not a good time to be in South Northants, what with F1 leaving Silverstone taking 40 million a year out of the local economy, and now the Honda base in Brackley shutting with 800 redundancies before Christmas. There's a bit of a chill in the air around these parts.

I am happy that I won't have to tolerate Ron Dennis anymore, but I would never deny the ability of the man.

McLaren will find it very difficult to replace him, but I guess they got what they wanted.
