Absolutely fantastic, couldn't think of a better way for Hull to lose it.

My thinking exactly. There is nothing better to undermine a team's prospects for next season than such a defeat. Added to the fact that Hull will have to endure an annoying, pointless, sapping, europa league campaign.

Hull will be one of my favourites for relegation next season. A couple of key injuries and a brain fart from their owner at some point and all the ingredients will be in place.

So far, I can make strong cases for Burnley, Swansea and Hull being worse than us next season. Decisions still to be made on WBA (recruit badly please), West Ham (if they foolishly sack their manager - please do), Soton (if they sell up and lose their manager) and the playoff winners. Villa and Sunderland could go wrong too.

Increasingly, our prospects are looking relatively good.
