Im expecting very few changes (maybe 2/3) as we start to realise we could do well in this competition. Never easy at lower league grounds, but whatever team CP selects we should be too strong for these, i think 0-3 Vardy Albrighton King

Full first team please. Rest players for Everton if needed (although there is 4.5 days in between).

I think we may see a similar team to the Fleetwood game. Maybe Albrighton instead of Slim.

I think less changes than Fleetwood considering it's a weekend game, with no midweek game before so less fixture congestion this time around. But we'll still see half a dozen changes.

Would expect a similar back 4 but with Jakupovic behind them again. Silva will start, so will Gray and Iheanacho. Rest Ndidi, Mahrez and Vardy. Rest Maguire if another centre back that isn't Benny is available.

Rest them for what?

Our relegation dogfight? Our title challenge? Our Champions League ambitions?

For a much more important game against Everton on the Wednesday.
We have literally nothing to play for in the league apart from a potential game in July to qualify for a European tournament that’s become about as prestigious as the Anglo-Italian Cup, and that no one wants to play in (hence most English clubs sending their reserves half the time).

We’re a League One team away from the last 16 of a tournament we have never won in our history.

And we have a squad with 20 or so full internationals. If any sensible combination of them isn't capable of beating a piss poor League One team, we don't deserve to win the FA Cup.

I think a few changes are in order. We should put Iborra and Silva in to middle (for Ndidi and James). Depending on fitness, bringing Huth or Morgan in for some game time would also be sensible.

I suspect Claude will also want to try Nacho and possibly Slimani up front (if he is still here by then)

I think we all know that simply isn't how it works. Let's learn from all of the teams that get shocked in the FA cup and assume that **** it, there's no way it can happen to us. Ressies.

Why chance it?

We should put out a strong side. i.e. basically no Benalouane and King. Jakupovic should be fine in goal, Iheanacho + Slim again should be fine up front at least to start. I think I'd go Silva and Iborra again in midfield but part of me thinks that because it's an away game on a crap quality pitch we may be better off fielding someone like Matty James who has experienced lower league football on crap pitches and may better handle the rough and tumble style of lower league football.

It's also about giving squad players a chance, giving them game time and getting them match fit.

I'm sure Puel has other considerations on his mind too, it's a balancing act. For instance, I've no idea if the club has priorities calculated in revenue terms.
