Vardy goes back to Fleetwood?

Won 5, drawn 1 against Hereford. Didn’t we lose to Fleetwood in a friendly?

Surely a TV match...?
If we get Hereford I'm sure it will be. Still find it hard to believe that we played in the same league as them just 8 years ago!

Breaking...

"Due to the unique way the BBC is funded we have decided to screen the Manchester United game. Bollocks to everyone else."

Remember going there when Conrad was in goal think it was a league cup game, also went when in league 1, tiny little ground also managed there in the 70s when Hereford Ressies were in the West Midlands League, happy days.

We've lost to Hereford in a pre-season friendly when Peter Taylor was in charge and Stan Collymore was trying to recover from his horrific leg injury. Walshie's mate, Steve Bull, was Hereford's boss at the time.

Edit: Graham Turner was the boss - Steve Bull was player/coach. I remember having a bit of banter with him after the game; I think he was quite fond of Walshie actually.
After the game we drove back through the night to Dover for the ferry so we could get to the game in Waalwijk, NL a couple of days later.

I hope it's Hereford. The memories will come flooding back. 4th Round 1982...Larry May scoring in the mud. I don't remember any football being played in the entire 90 mins. But we won, I was 17 with a full head of hair & all my own teeth, it cost **** all to get in & **** all to travel, enjoyed some great insult trading with the locals (mostly about what they'd all got up to with that bloody bull) & got fabulously pissed. Girl selling teas off a cart gave me her phone number too. One of the good days. God, I loved being young! **** Fleetwood. A shithole near a much bigger shithole. Vardy can wait to go back til they name a stand after him.
