I went to a Primary school on a council estate so I was dropping the c - bomb before double figures and I'm sure you'll all agree that I have turned out fine as a result.......

I went to a Primary school that had a mix of children from different social classes, I too was taught the c word and many more at a young age.

I'm not sure whether the c word existed when I went to Primary school, but I certainly wasn't aware of it. I genuinely can't remember hearing anything more extreme than the word "shit", and that was from a lovely young girl who managed to get expelled. Clearly I grew up in a sheltered environment.

I went to an all boys grammar school and will never ever go near bike sheds on my own for as long as I live.

To be honest, I didn't really know what '****' meant when I was in Infants

Rampant racism and fist fights used to be part of the football culture.

Is there any connection between rampant rascism and fist fights with bad language? Or are you being deliberately syllogistic?

I think his point was that just because something was/is the norm, it doesn't make it right.

At High School, certainly - but certainly not at primary school

It's a Family Stand designated for that specific purpose. Quite why people can't understand that is completely beyond me.

It's not as if the rest of the ground is completely full, so there is hardly an absence of space for people to swear, sing, and spend half of the game pointing and looking at the away fans rather than watching the game

It's not even just the swearing, I wouldn't want my daughter sitting around people singing "let him die" when someone gets injured.

I had a friend at primary school who nicknamed me Hunt the ****, I've lived up to that nickname for the rest of my life.

Edit, I'm not the Hunt the **** that Jeff went to school with. We also had a kid at primary who everyone called Cud

Really?

There was someone at my primary school who was called Hunt. I think everyone can guess what his nickname was. But most kids knew which words shouldn't be used in front of adults.

iMac

I think his point was that just because something was/is the norm, it doesn't make it right.

The fact that some may find colourful language offensive doesn't make it wrong.
Everybody has a right to be offended, and are by many things, but it doesn't necessarily follow that people should then modify their behaviour to accommodate the fact that others are offended.

So tomorrow my older brother will be upgrading my sons ticket to sit with us.

Either that or there will be an empty seat between myself and my Dad.

Whats going to happen? I'll be asked to move? LOL

Silly c***s!

(I added the C word to keep with the theme)

Just dress Andy up in a romper suit and wheel him into the stadium in a pushchair

Some seriously naive people here if they don't think primary school kids use swear words amongst themselves. Because they don't run up to the teacher and call them a **** doesn't mean they don't swear or are not aware of naughty adults/kids who do swear.

What does everyone in the family stand do when there is a quite obvious chant being sang by the away fans or the home fans very loudly and very clearly?

Iv'e been swearing with excellent effect for a while now, I still don't do it in front of my parents though, do you think they know?

So no evidence, then.
