Apparently from what I was told on Monday, Ladbrookes were only told a couple of weeks ago they had lost the contract, and that this new firm were cheaper.

I said I bet it's a random company we ain't heard of with crap odds and if you win you can only pick up winnings at the ground....

Cheaper? Does that mean we pay them? I would expect it would have been a rent based on turnover or a fixed concession charge that City would charge them.....

Looking at their website, they seem to be primarily a lottery organiser.

Just put a few of their on-line prices through an arbitrage calculator It looks as though they're aiming to return about 2% less to the punter than other bookies.

So more profitable? I can't see how they can be described as 'cheaper' as it isn't costing us anything...speculating that we're not stupid enough to pay a tenant of course ;-)

I think you need a floppy drive, I was always under the impression that's where the 'floppy' paper money comes from.

If you want coins, you'll have to find the coin tray from a 1988 Cavalier and plug that in via USB.

I saw John and Parkes advertised as good odds for first goal scorer. Seems unlikely to me.

The woman in the kiosk near us had to ask us at the end of the game who had scored their 2nd goal. I know nothing about how this betting stuff works but I thought it was strange that she hadn't been told.
