I think it was one to the fans today after the STEWARDS were unable to make the SK1 sit down to watch the match.
We are there to make as much noise/atmosphere to show the team we love our support, and you cant do that by sitting down.
I pay over 400 quid to get my season ticket to sing my heart out for the boys and if i want to persistantly stand i will. After all it is a football STAND not a football SIT..

So please STEWARDS take a chill pill and let the Faithful BE..

Well, you obviously can

If you refuse to sit down you can be removed from the ground. That'd be a bit of a waste of your £400

I'm sure the rest of the Kop will be delighted when the inevitable happens and your failure to comply with the ground regulations brings a police presence to that end of the ground. Just what they would want.

You having paid over £400 for your season ticket must mean you are a new season ticket holder - not BEEN one of the Faithful for very long then? If you had been around for any length of time, you would know what every football fan knows - STANDS are where you SIT. The place to STAND is called a TERRACE and they were done away with because people did not behave themselves on them. Putting yourselves in contravention of the ground regulations is not the best way to campaign for the return of terracing, believe me.

In all fairness to him though, he wins my vote for the most ironic username award

I love the club, I sang songs today, I cheered and shouted when I felt like it. All of it while sat on my fat arse. There's no sodding difference.

Sit down and do as you are told!

People can't stand up because there will be disruption, damage and death so sit down and do as you are told or you'll have to go outside.

Eh?

the memories of being crushed against the barriers on the terraces at Filbo are not something I care to remember... the bruises I had on my ribcage after every game were not funny :(

There could also potentially be financial implications that impact on the club if people persist in standing. It isn't a Leicester City policy, every club is bound by these regulations...why can't people understand that.:102:

because it contains words of more than one syllable :102:

Maybe there should be some easy to understand signs?

i envy you, i wish i stoop and banged some metal every game

Is SK1 the section to the left of the kop (if you're standing and looking from the centre circle)? There was a group of young lads at the back standing and singing most of the game. They were holding a massive banner which I think read "Fosse Boys". Two of the more senior stewards went up to them in the first half but gave up pretty quickly. Wouldnt be surprised if reality fox was one of these young lads.

Close, it actually says "Fussy Boys". They don't just stand anywhere you know, they're very particular

oh yes, being small and female was not a good combination as the crowd pushed down the terraces when it looked like there might be a goal. I learned to stand in front and not behind the barriers.

I used to love the terraces. The atmosphere of the old Kop is the reason I'm a City fan, and not the game itself, but those days are long gone and they aren't coming back.
