TEN stories about the new kit to greet you when you now log onto the official site

Just in case you didn't know, we've got a new kit

Apparently Durham is getting shorts specially made by Blacks The Outdoor Specialists.....sowing a couple of 4 man tents together for him.

For those of you expecting an automatic discount if you are a season ticket holder

Foxes Trust site said:
Prior to last weeks Fans Forum we were asked by Beaumont Fox on a message board to raise the issue of Season Ticket holders not being able to obtain their discount entitlement when buying on line.

In reply, Ben Swift explained that it wasn’t technically possible while making the purchase as the on line purchasing system was not linked to the Season Ticket database, however you can still buy on line and obtain your Season Ticket discount entitlement by doing the following…

a) Process your order at the full price on line.

b) You will then receive an on-line purchase confirmation via e-mail

c) Reply to the e-mail, ensuring both your transaction reference and Season Ticket number are quoted within the reply, requesting the dscount

d) The club will then process a refund on your credit card of your discount entitlement.

So its more hard work than it should be, but you can order on-line and gain your discount, which many fans believed not to be the case

There really is little point in getting it. From the photo it looks like the same kit as this year! so from about 1 meter away who is going to tell that you are wearing last years shirt! Waste of money. :?

Over two hours now without a kit-related story on the official site

Very worrying

Well they do need to cram 2 years worth of home kit stories into one year & don't forget there's all the new away kit stories to come in June & July

Doubt there will be any room on the site to announce a new signing.

Ah sorry, of course there will, the signing story will be called

'Be the first to get "insert NEW PLAYERS NAME" on your brand new kit'

It's an 'orrible kit - no doubt some gypsy dyke doing Fashion & Communication Studies at Leicester College designed it.

Why have we got white socks all of a sudden?

Give em a break eh Homer, they have just announced the signing of Patrick McCarthy..

And to think it took them about five hours to post that Matty Elliott had retired

Actually, the "Ask your City heroes" story does have Hughes and Maybury sat in the new kit, so I suppose that counts

Nice to see the word "heroes" being used so liberally as well

I am, believe me :o :o :o

For those interested, our club does actually have a Customer Charter.
The following extract may be of interest:

6) MERCHANDISE
6.1 All replica Strip designs have a minimum lifespan of two seasons, with the exception of the current gold strip, which has a one year lifespan. The Club informs supporters of all kits' lifespans at the time of launch.

Still waiting for press release number 11

wahey!!! :D

although........there's no capital B or F and it's all one word....beaumontfox....not that i'm being picky or anything.... :-D

i work at jjb sports and we have been taking orders for about the last five days for the city kit. we have hardly taken any orders at all for it there has been little interest and hardly any of the leaflets with information about the kit have been taken. saying there is little interest in it is an understatement.

The Club wouldn't be economical with the truth, would it? :? :? :? :-( :-(
