Having just played both the demos, FIFA seems to be the winner again. Though its going to take some getting used to regarding the physical nature of it!

PES was piss poor in comparison. Shooting is shocking, and I cleared the ball on the volley in my own area and it basically ended up going out for a goal kick!

Fifa has always been king for me.

I thought PES got close a few years ago because Fifa 08/09? was a bit of a flop.

I went off it since they changed the name to PES from ISS Pro. International Superstar Soccer Pro is a way cooler name than Pro Evolution Soccer Pro! Fifa all the way.

Agreed. PES5 was the last half decent pro evo game. Don't know if I'll bother with either this year.. maybe fifa when it hits cut price sometime after christmas..

I like the idea of the penalties... but wayyyy too hard to execute.

I like that they need a bit more skill though. The sweet spot just needs to be made bigger though

That was the penalty system in World Cup. It's easy after practice.

It's very hard when you're playing with lower league players on it.

I've spent about 20 minutes in the arena with Cristiano Ronaldo practising them, I've missed a lot more than I've scored! Nightmare!

Was it that Pro where Recoba was awesome too? Those two up front were unbeatable.

Basically Ibrahimovic Adriano and Recoba as a front 3 and you won. It was fun but stupid

I think so, that's the idea for the online mode.

I read an article somewhere saying they were trying to stop online quitters by giving the losers & winners points? But that may be wrong.

My copy for PES has arrived lads, no matter how bad it get's i'm staying with PES, Fifa was so stupid a few years ago with their indoor matches(98) and scoring from the halfway line (00). Once a PES fan always a PES Fan!!!!

It better be worth the 60 euros
