A new landscaping contractor called M Allen Gardening services has been burning leaves

Some chap has came back from lunch - says the fire is now out, he went into the pub and smoke was everywhere, he came out of pub no smoke, fire out.

Just came back from meeting the missus in town for lunch. The smoke covered High Street and all the way back to Granby Street, looked pretty bad. Went into Croques for some grub and when we came out it had gone.

Firefighters put out Shires blaze

Fifty firefighters were called out to a blaze at a shopping centre extension when polystyrene insulation in the roof caught alight.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service were called at about 1315 BST on Friday and took an hour to put out the flames at the Shires centre in Leicester.

Eight fire engines were used to put out the blaze which sent smoke billowing across the city. No one was hurt.

A spokesman for the Fire Service said: "It was a lot of fuss over nothing."
