I'm running 10.0.2 - is anyone else finding it to be a total sack of shit?

It's slow, processes don't run, uploading photos is impossible and some sites simply don't load.

I'm going to try out Chrome on the MBP again.

Updates done and no problems whatsoever to report. In fact, it seems to be running a lot faster and is more responsive. I'm after loading a few sites that I know have been slow to load in the past and they seem noticeably faster.
Admittedly not the most scientific of tests, just my initial impression. Should also point out this is on Linux, I'm using Mint 9.

Do you have any extensions installed? It could be one of those causing your woes.

Latest firefox running fine on both my laptop & netbook on Windows 7. Most likely be something else running that you don't know about that is slowing it down - automated virus check scan maybe??

I had loads of problems to start with, got rid of an extension and it seems to be ok.. the odd site still loads slowly on occasion.

Disabled and removed anything and everything and it's still bloody woeful compared to Chrome.

I've had problems uploading pictures in Safari too, which is annoying.

To check if it's an extension causing problems, click on the Help menu and select Restart With Addons Disabled, then click Restart at the prompt. When it restarts, click the Disable All Addons checkbox then the Continue in Safemode button.

If that solves things, you'll need to go through each extension disabling them one at a time until you find the little ****er causing you grief.

Maybe a corrupt localstore file. It could be worth a try, it's been known to fix odd behavior in Firefox
