I thought Tags was playung for Tamwoth?

He is on a part-time basis and I think taking an assistant like role there with Gary Mills. Will possibly continue with the Academy in the week.

Once again, I agree.....(but I'd still like to see Taggs given a chance in some capacity!)

I should make it clear that I wouldn;t mind either of them working at the club *in some capacity*, as long as they are earning thier money - although I think I can presume that last bit would be true in the MM era. But *the* first-team coach needs to have a more rounded view of the was the whole team need to play - it's not enough just to 'sort the defence out' one week, to 'fine-tune the attack' the next and to 'encourage a more imaginative midfield' the week after that. A;; this has to go on at once and only an experienced coach can do this.

I know what you are saying, and I wouldn't endorse a defence one week, attack the next policy.

I get the impression that MA takes a hands on role in training, and I assume the assistant will too. So the training program will be arranged by all three. I think it would be good to have an input from someone who understands the requirements of each posistion. (Hockaday was a defender)

I doubt we would be able to attract a fantastic coach to come here and work under Allen and Whitbread. So i wouldn't discount Tags.

Although having just researched Whitbread, he was a defender too, so a coach who was previously a striker would be ideal IMO
