I'm just trying to get my head around our remaining schedule.

We have two fixtures that are yet to be arranged - Spurs at home and Arsenal away. We have four midweek spaces available, two of which presumably cannot be filled due to the potential for us to be in the Champions League semis. The semis take place on 2nd/3rd and 9th/10th May.

Can we avoid scheduling one or both of these fixtures until we know the outcome of the quarter final? I don't think so because it's too late for at least one of them to be rearranged for the week after were we to progress.

Therefore, I think that we have to play one of these fixtures on 25th/26th April and the other on 16th/17th May.

The first of these spaces is the midweek between the FA Cup semi finals and the North London derby so I'm guessing that neither of our potential opponents want to play us then. Perhaps they're in dispute with us over this at the moment? I'd expect both would much rather play us in the last week of the season instead.

Is this right or am I missing something?

Seems logical but would be better for everyone with a list in date order produced.

I can't see what else could be done. I agree with you regarding the Arsenal/Spurs issue too, I think they're probably both desperately trying to avoid the first date, but I imagine the debate is with the Premier League, not us.

Arsenal away is now confirmed to be played on the 26th. This means we will play four straight away games in the league. Two big home games coming up...
