Anyone got any tips/good players to buy and tactics that are any good? I have just got this game on psp.

cheers! I was leicester and was bottom after 10 games!
I wasnt sure which tactics to use!
Let me know if you know any more players and is it worth getting championship manager 2007? I have that on the PC.

CM is awful on the PC, even worse on psp!
Look for players out of contract or with not long left on their contract in player search. They will be quite old but very experienced and effective in the championship.

Pc as you can run more leagues, I got it on psp so i can take it on holiday

the tactics I found on footballmanager.net are for fm2006! I have picked this up off ebay for £4.69 bargain..

2007. Use long balls and a target man. Make Nygarrd hold up the ball and aim for his head. Then put someone fast alongside him. Works every time in lower leagues in FM - you just need someone strong and great in the air.

yes fryatt is good on it - has potential to be premiership scorer.
get ronny johnsen on a free at the start if you can - he was a rock the first season for me.
