I'm not aware of that happening. If they are they're probably doing it so they can sell them on eBay!

No you can't.
London Mint Office, a private coin dealer, is offering £50 for them, but they have nothing to do with the Royal Mint.
but how do you know if they are genuine?
This one looks about right but it's dirt cheap. why?
