I see where you are coming from but what are we supposed to do?We have to carry on hoping we can get in the play offs or whatever or do we just abandon the season altogether. We aren't good enough but I dare say Palace fans were saying the same thing this time last year.Would you rather we didn't win a match?

To be honest, I thought first half was a good performance (albeit against atrocious opposition).

2nd half was pretty poor but at least it seems we have that spirit back, scoring rather than conceding goals in injury time.

Fair play to DC as well, despite the chances he missed, he kept working hard and getting himself in the position to score goals.

Oh and Jordan Stewart should not play for Leicester again.

As regards the match...We were obviously the better team(Forest are in deep trouble they are awful)but a combination of bad luck and woeful finishing made a point feel dissapointing. We played some decent stuff but it was hard to evaluate because IMO Forest were that poor. Some good performances and some not so good.Scowcroft was fecking pathetic and why doesn't Stewart take that stupid polo neck off?

we can take nothing positive from that game apart from an away draw, very lucky.
hats off to those poor souls that went, you deserved much better.
no-one did enough to gain one merit point. any one good play was countered by two bad throughout the whole team.
if they weren't plain poor they were adequate.
woeful.

What do you expect to see MK? This is the Championship if you want Champagne football etc then go and watch Chelsea or Arsenal,I really don't think we were that bad.I suppose its down to what your expectations are but that match was no better or worse than any other match I've seen in the Championship this season and I've seen every team play.

I disagree, I thought the 2 centre halves were generally very solid, Gudjohnsson had the best game I've seen him have, Gillespie was beating players and we created chances. As well as this hopefully CL saw that Jordan Stewart is a tragedy of a footballer.

Believe me that was an improvement from the utter dross i saw on Saturday, irrespective of the opposition tonight.

I only saw it on SKY but, Gudjohnsson was too bad for words and that put too much pressure on Nalis. Scowcroft and Connolly should have an extended break in the reserves.

If we could get rid of Gudjohnsson and the front two and bring in someone new then we would look that much better. That is unlikely and I am worried that CL will not change things (players or formation) and that we are going to spend another season in this League. :(

I love it when football fans assume that shipping out 3 players and bringing in replacements will automatically lead to improvement.

Right then, who do we bring in for Scowcroft and Connolly? The proven performers Blake and Wright? How about Benjamin, who we all expect to come in from the cold and bang the goals in.

From what i've seen, the fact that chances were created is a positive, especially as I had the misfortune to watch the Reading game on Sat where we didnt even look like scoring.

I'm going to watch the game again later, and try to see how Gudjohnssons performance has merited such criticism.

I only saw it in a pub with no sound and The Jam on the jukebox all night, but I thought that Jordon Stewart looked like a show pony tonight, flash touches for the camera but no crossing ability, no tackling and worst of all Impey went past him on at least two occasions. In my book if Impey beats you it means you should instantly retire from professional football.

Why does Nallis only play in the first half, every game he virtually disappears after half time.

We desperately need another striker, Connolly and Scowcroft are nothing like an effective partnership, but who else have we got? And please don't say big Trev.

On a positive note Keown looked good, Tiatto made a difference, Gillespie is at least trying and Gudjonsson had possibly his best game in a city shirt.

Rant over, sorry kids.

 I love it when football fans are incapable of seeing what is in front of their nose. Our front two are dreadful and any changes will not make the situation worse. Gudjohnsson is not good enough as a Championship midfielder. Ditto any changes, though I think we do have better midfielders than Gudjohnsson.

So you are also in love with the formation. If you are brave enough there are plenty of ways to improve the side, CL has already done that, it is just that he needs to be braver.

To be honest, I don't see a point with Forest as being too bad. Derby games aren't easy, and they were saying on Sky that Forest have lost a Midlands derby at home in 49 games.

Connolly got his first goal under Levein and hopefully he'll get more now. Scowcroft was shite all night and should be replaced with Benjamin. Or put Dabizas/Heath/Stearman in defence and try Dublin up front again. Scowy just looked terrible.
Tiatto and Gillespie both played well. Connolly kept trying and eventually it came for him tonight.

I'm not won over by Gudjohnsson yet (he was garbage in sat) but I thought tonight he justified his selection.

As for the formation, I have no problem with 4-4-2, if CL beleves in it and has had success with it in the past. It's all good and well saying change the formation to this that and the other, but as a championship side we have our limits. The players need to know how CL want's to play, and CL will hopefully mould a team succesful at that way of playing.

And as for the strikers, I can really see no alternative to what we have. I believe Trev does deserve a chance from the bench, but other than that there is no-one.

We are a bit better with 4-4-2 under CL as at least Gillespie is trying. We have precious little down the left so like we were under MA we are playing a system that does not suit the players we have.

As for the strikers, any alternative is no worse than we have now. So give any alternative a go on the off chance it might be better. Persisting with what we have now is pointless and arguing that we have nothing better is pointless. How do we cut through this Gordian knot. Make some changes and see what happens. Be brave.

Well, a lot of criticism lately at some of our players.....what would be everyone's first team?

Here is mine

Taylor

Heath Dublin Keown

Gillespie Williams Joey Nalis Tiatto

Scowcroft Connolly
(for now)

Subs: Walker, Dabizas, Canero, Stewart, Benjamin/Morris

My only other comment about the front two is how little support they get from the midfield.    :( :( :? :?

I expect a bit of heart HF, I expect some bottle, I expect some claret spilt for the cause, and it's not happening right now. No player seems to care about lcfc, there's no history anymore, no hero's or battlers.

no i don't hf, he put himself about a bit, but nothing out of the ordinary. but i expect more than 1 player to have some bollox. DT was the one shining light tonight. has taylor been to walkers barber?
