Innocent said:
some alleged dodgy goings on in his private life.
Don't you think you should live up to your name and presume that he was innocent?
Particularly as the woman at the centre of the allegations I assume you're referring to won a libel case against the paper that printed them.

GMTV reporter wins libel damages

A GMTV reporter has won a substantial sum in libel damages from the People and the Daily Record over an allegation that she cheated on her partner, former Scotland football manager Craig Brown.
Two other tabloid newspapers, News of the World and the Sun, have also agreed to settle out of court.
The newspapers have apologised to Louise Port and agreed to pay her damages and legal costs, believed to total £235,000.
Ms Port brought high court proceedings against the newspapers after they wrongly reported in February 2001 that she had been cheating on Mr Brown, under the headlines "Soccer boss's lover subs him for a stud" and "Louise leaves Craig on the subs bench".
The People and the Record both falsely alleged that she had been engaged in a passionate sexual relationship with freelance football reporter Geoff Peters for some time.
Her solicitor, Michael Gardner, told Mr Justice Eady that Ms Port had been caused immense distress by the false claims.
He added that both newspapers now admitted there was no truth whatsoever in their stories.
The tabloids both accepted that Ms Port had never had any kind of sexual or emotional relationship with Mr Peters, and had never cheated on Mr Brown, now manager at Preston North End.
