My dad said during Pleats reign that the fans were calling for his head in November/December time and having stand ups etc. Why do you reckon this guy has had so long? IMO he's had it relatively easy from the fans and media, I think he would have been treated alot differently at other clubs.

IMO CL took over the club that was in a poorer state than when Pleat came to power. Pleat was also a big capture at that time and i think the fans thought he might achieve what MON did a decade later.

Couldn't comment, I was just a young 'un then. Definately the worst team I've seen though right now.

IMO the team of 1990-1991 would probaly still be too good for todays bunch.

Not sure if Joachim was playing then and Peter Weir? Colin Gordon, Kevin Poole, Nicky Plataneur are a few i remember and Walshie of course.
