Foxes Trust Board comment on relegation and the message from the Club’s Chairman

Jebus wept, what a completely pointless load of old shite

Embarrassing

No wonder the Club treat the fans with contempt with these dobbers around.

No wonder we're a basket case of a club with this bunch 'representing' the fans.

What a worthless statement of feeble nothingness. Never knowingly criticise anyone who may supply you with a prawn sandwich?

Union FS are a group of kids and have far more heart and integrity than you.

You don't speak for me.

“The Foxes Trust Board is pleased…”

Weird opening. Perhaps for future relegations you could begin by expressing disappointment, and then say you were pleased to see a statement had been released.

“The purpose of the Trust is not to second-guess football-related decisions made by the Club. It is to ensure that the Club is run effectively and well…”

How exactly are you doing that? For example, when we resolved to borrow against future premier league revenue, will your stark warning be visible in the minutes? At that meeting, and others you surely attended, will there be a minute of the grave concerns raised about prolonging the continued employment of elite manager Brendan Rodgers? Or the salaries being paid to quite poor players? Or the fact unmotivated players were just winding their contracts down?

“…to help ensure that Leicester City never experiences some of the catastrophic financial and governance issues which have impacted on so many clubs recently and, indeed, impacted on our club as recently as 2002.”

Two decades isn’t recent.

“this season’s surprise relegation is doubly disappointing”.

I’m a moron and I called it last summer. Was it really a surprise? I’m sure you and your board have your finger on the pulse of the fanbase. It wasn’t a surprise was it. We saw it coming didn’t we?

As your mission (see your own statement) is to ‘ensure that the Club is run effectively and well’, no doubt you can put us all at ease by confirming that relegation fears were in fact communicated to the club. Again, I am sure an entity as important as the Trust was present at the board meetings and a minute of the concerns was taken. After all, how could you execute your objective to ensure the club is run ‘efficiently and well’ without a seat at the table.

“we encourage the Club’s owners and Board to make a thorough assessment of the lessons to be learned from how it became possible.”

Come on now. You intimate you read the statement released by the club. It says:-

we need to reflect on the processes and decisions that have brought us to this point. What we learn from this experience must convert into action that makes us stronger and prevents this happening to us again in the future.

Why are you urging them to do something in their statement they have already pledged to do? Here’s my watch… can you tell me the time.

“We also encourage the owners and the Board to make public their views on those lessons learned in due course, to enable scrutiny and provide reassurance about the long-term sustainability of the Club.”

Yeah that won’t happen will it. If there are individuals accountable the club is hardly going to say, ‘hey everyone, the problem was Jon, but we have this now. Everything is all good’.

It’ll be behind closed doors where it should be… or at one of those meetings you surely attend that enables you to fulfil your objective of ensuring that the ‘Club is run effectively and well’.

:038: Great stuff lads keep it going

Contrast the piss poor drivel from the Foxes Trust with this from Union FS:

"After Sunday’s outcome and a hugely disappointing season on the pitch, we are now preparing for an unnecessary, if expected, return to the second division.

We are all incredibly disappointed with the abject failures of the playing staff and of the board, and expect to see the swift and decisive action alluded to in the chairman's statement to learn the vital lessons, enact the appropriate, necessary and urgent changes at all levels and ultimately put right the considerable wrongs of the past year, so as to enable the club to be as prepared as possible for both the long season ahead and a return to sustaining its upward progression in the future".

Pwhoar.

Let's have a bit of that

Boom

Compare that to the lily-livered sycophantic deluded shite from the Foxes Trust

Bunch of wankers

Now that represents me as a fan. Highly doubt they'll get what they expect though.

Yeah, it’s a decent statement.

It’s a pity however, that a lot of those who associate themselves with this group are chimp brained, Stone Island wearing, Wetherspoonites with as much brain power as a Rich Tea biscuit and the integrity to match.

The ****ing foxes ****ing trust.

Christ.

A statement from those bought & paid for arselickers is about as relevant a comment on the state of the club as a press release from the Women's Institute, The Knights Templar, Winnie the Pooh or Gary ****ing Glitter.

****s

As much use as a chastity belt in a knocking shop.
