Great start to the season, unbeaten and joint top of the CCC. Only one defeat in this comp and even then we fought to the wire and showed a lot of spirit.

One win should see us through but if Notts beat Northants then that would probably be enough too because of our run rate We should try and finish top and get a home QF though.

In April, Ackerman made two championship tons, Boyce scored around 250 runs and New made his first ton.
