Maybe I'm being a bit too cynical, but I think that the only reason Fryatt is rated as "touch and go" is to try and sell more tickets.
Don't know why we would do that, any extra ticket sales revenue would go straight to Wednesday.

Do LCFC not get any of the money? I thought they did.

At the weekend on Walsalls official site it reported that Fryatt would be out for 3 weeks. That was before there was any potential transfer to City reported.

My guess is that the injury was the reason the deal took longer than expected to complete due to complications with the medical. Mad Biker also hinted at this in his post yesterday. Its a lot of money to spend so the club have every right to be cautious.

I reckon Fryatt has absolutely no chance of playing on saturday but CL is playing it down. It also gives Paul Sturrock some food for thought in his preparations for the game. Should he prepare his defence for the pace of Hammond or the guile of Fryatt?

Just my view.....Hope i'm wrong.
